MJ-2 #01 F-PHOE

Construction:
1954 - 1956
Moteur / Engine : Continental C65 65 cv / hp - Voltige / Aerobatic

1956, birth of the "Tempête" (Storm), a little 65hp aircraft with already a particular and almost "aggressive" look ...

Shown here is F-PHOE, Tempête n°1 built by Marcel Jurca in Colombes (right north Paris) and which hold a type certificate on the 9th August 1956, the maiden flight being conducted at Persan-Beaumont airfield on June 27th the very same year.

Rare archives pictures showing F-BHOE, since the F-PHOE now hold a CDN flight permit delivered on March 20th, 1959 allowing from now an industrial building.

However for maintenance cost reason the CDN Tempête is back under CNRA regulations as early as 27 August 1963, with a Continental C90 engine.

F-PHOE was destroyed in 1971 preparing a flight duration contest.
