MJ-5 #124 G-ORFC

Construction:
1994
Moteur / Engine : Lycoming O-290 135 cv / hp - Voltige / Aerobatic

This aircraft was partially built during the 1980's somewhere in the UK. In 1989, it was acquired by Mr Phil Philips and construction of the aircraft was completed at Lasham Airfield in Hampshire, UK. It was completed and first flew in 1994.

Fitted with a Lycoming 0290 engine and a fixed pitch metal prop, wingtip extensions were added in the 'late nineties' (unsure of exact date).

The aircraft was flown to France regularly for a number of years, as Phil had a small home in Northern France near Le Mans. I have flown approximately 20 hours in this particular aircraft and, although it is not the prettiest example of the marque, it flies really well and was always a pleasure to take to the air in.

After her builder passed away in 2006, the plane came to France by road at St Omer (62).
