MJ-2 #20 F-PMXO

Construction:
1965
Moteur / Engine : Continental C90-14F 90 cv / hp - Voltige / Aerobatic

F-PMXO story is one of the longest of Tempête's.... the aircraft was built by Marc Van Laer in 1965 and performed his first flight from Chavenay (78) airfield motorized by a C90 14F.

In 1973 it was purchased by Alain Pujadas, who uses it to fly to Romania with Serge Brillant flying the MJ-2 #23 - F-PMXI, Nick Shildermans MJ-2 #18 LX-PUT and Lucien Cottereau with his Sirocco #17 - F-POIL. Alain Pujadas cannot fly his aircraft back to France, and the bird will remain one year on the Romanian territory. It will be ferried by road with Richard Bourqui who will handle it back to his owner.

In 1981 the F-PMXO is owned by Jean Kilisky at Romilly before being sold to the Aero-club de l'Yonne in Auxerre in 1982 ; the aircraft will not stay there too long, being sold to Charles Marmin from Luçon in 1984. Charles sells it to Stéphane Constantini in 1987 who, only 21, after original grey/red painting, engine overhaul and 200h flying, will sell it to Patrick Engerbeaud (futur owner of F-PYFX) in 1989...as early as 1990 the Tempête is sold again to Pierre Berthon then to Xavier Massé in 1991 (who paint it 'Spitfire style') and at last to Philippe Nauguet and Gerard Saint-Denis in 1992.

The aircraft is based since then in Pont Sur Yonne airfield. It still have the very same engine C90 14F (mid-2001)
