MJ-2 #005 F-PNUM

Construction:
1967
Moteur / Engine : Continental 65 & 100 cv / hp - Voltige / Aerobatic

A rather long story is attached to the F-PNUM... .Aircraft is finished being built in 1967 in Limoges in the hands of Jacques Richard . Worth noting is the fact that a young boy called Michel Barry gives a hand to building this aircraft. (he is today a well known aircraft builder and pilot and designer of " the Souricette ") NDT.

In 1971 a pilot called Didier Petitjean destroys his Bébé Jodel on Vouzon airfield. He sees a Tempête aircraft standing in a hangar and buys it right away. He will keep it 3 years before selling it to Marcel Jurca himself, who can't imagine staying without his own Tempête, since F-PHOE was destroyed two years earlier.

Marcel gives her a camouflaged pattern before selling it to Camille Desbruyères who in turn replaces the C90 with an O-200. The aircraft is then transferred to Claude Deschamps in Troyes, when the aircraft is sold to Gildas Lebrun, on the same airfield.

Gildas adventure now starts. He will experience an in-flight aileron flutter and lose most of the roll axis control boards-aileron- before successfully landing in a field. The aircraft is repaired and flies again only to land in a field after an untightened gasoline pipe failure. But it is in 1985 that Gildas will encounter his biggest fear after losing in flight the three blades of his new propeller. Dreadful vibrations and an half split fuselage (up to the back of the seat) allow however Gildas to land safe, before noting that the engine is only hung by the cables and pipes and is lying at the bottom of the cowlings.

He saves some parts form the aircraft and builds a new bird, which will become the F-PLGL.
