Moteur / Engine : Lycoming O-290 135 cv / hp - Voltige / Aerobatic | |
Fitted with a Lycoming 0290 engine and a fixed pitch metal prop, wingtip extensions were added in the 'late nineties' (unsure of exact date). The aircraft was flown to France regularly for a number of years, as Phil had a small home in Northern France near Le Mans. I have flown approximately 20 hours in this particular aircraft and, although it is not the prettiest example of the marque, it flies really well and was always a pleasure to take to the air in. After her builder passed away in 2006, the plane came to France by road at St Omer (62).
